Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013: The page
After some experience with Dynamics NAV 2013, some of our clients and consultants started getting the error “The page is not valid” with a reference to the page number when trying to open a page. This error is occurring frequently enough that we decided to publish a solution publicly. At the moment, we’re not exactly sure what causes the issue (one of our developers could probably tell us) but we have found a solution for this problem.
The error only occurs with specific Use ID’s and does not always occur to all users. There is likely a caching issue/conflict between the user’s personalization of a page and the page itself.
The solution was discovered by Ken Moore of our development team at ADNM’s office in Montreal.
To resolve the issue we go to the user’s record in the User Personalization table and click on “Edit”. From the edit page we click on the large red X in the ribbon that says “Clear Personalized Pages” and the issue is resolved for all pages with errors.
